CS1 no air to the noid

Levirate has a CS1 that I’ve been t-shooting and can’t seem to get past a certain point. He replaced the o-rings with a Captain O-ring set. Old seals are gone. After he compared the manual to the provided sizes, he corrected a few that were the wrong size and then aired it up. The noid clicks but no shooty.

We got to the point where we pulled off the grip frame and aired it up to see if air was getting to the noid by engaging the POPS with the frame off. No dice. With the reg guts all removed, air does flow through the handle to the airways for the noid. Looks like it might be the reg piston but we can’t figure out what’s stopping airflow. It has the correct oring size.

    anyone have any ideas?

Is the noid fully cycling tho?

    Fresh name brand Battery?

If you are using a ninja ball valve reg give the tank a 1/8 to 1/4 turn back on the ASA.

Noid t-shooting is next. But I assume the noid holds back the air and that if the grip frame is removed from the body with air applied there should be a jet of pressurized air coming out the hole in the top of the grip, right?

Weve been using Eneloop rechargeable AA batteries. Using a guerrilla air reg. We’ve used it before on this gun and it works fine.

Start with fresh name brand batteries. Most rechargeable batteries can cause all kinds of funky issues. They often don’t provide enough power. It could just be a battery isn’t given the noid enough power to fully open.

Have you checked the center hole of the piston? I know sometimes debris or portions of the reg seat can get in there and plug it.

We did check the center hole and blew out the little bit of grease that was there. Turned out to be some bad o-rings. We brought it to the Eclipse tent at SuperGame and the tech made her sing again.
