Looking to build a toy that I could never afford 20 years ago, like many I assume based on ebay prices compared to what I remember. So I got this project gun, 2k4 prostock. Looking forward to replacing all the orings and servicing the entire thing, maybe find a lower pressure valve since it's going to be a pump and I want to have fun. Based on the age I should replace the valve seal anyway (it doesn't look like they are user serviceable, but new stock kind of expensive, so might as well get a Palmers I assume)
From what I could find, I think this is a shocktech reg, and it has what I believe are CP gen 2 internals, but the seal is shaped slightly different than the rebuild kits, without the cutout for the ball bearing that moves with the adjustment screw. It looks like it might work, as all it has to do is move up and down, but wanted to ask. Thanks
Also, any benefits to getting the LP CP rebuild kit? I assume no since I don't really want to target below 250 or 300psi. Thanks again.
