    Mystery Slider Frame

I picked up three of these frames. Two of them came in 32 degrees packages and one of them in a plastic bag. I listed one for sale and someone eventually pointed out that they weren't what I listed them as... and now I'm not sure what they are. Can you help me figure this out?

After looking through this frame guide https://pbase.com/k_macocker/id_autococker_frames it looks most similar to the Benchmark frames. But there's no Benchmark lettering machined into it. I pulled out my ADN with a Benchmark for comparison.

What do you guys think is going on here? Is this a Benchmark? Did any of these escape the factory without the lettering? Is this someone's copy of a Benchmark?

The geometry is just slightly different in this area. Could this be a bootleg Benchmark? Or were there slight changes over the years on these?

32 degrees was notorious for copying designs; I think there's a solid chance it's in the right box but was a Benchmark copy.

I thought so at first too. But the bottom of the trigger guard is cut higher where it meets the grip. Where mine pretty much comes straight back.

Ahh ok I didn't look hard enough, probably right then it's probably a benchmark knockoff

The cut behind the trigger guard looks better imo on the knock off, the little swoop where your trigger finger rides

Yeah, it's actually a pretty nice frame. I almost passed them by because it said 32 deg. But I was in need of a replacement for the plastic one on my 02 vert feed. When I opened one up I was surprised how nice it was. Regardless of what this is, I'm definitely happy with it.

It looks like even with their blocky trigger guard style the coppied DYE. But they have their logo on it. The fact there isn't a 32 deg logo makes me wonder.

Yeah I guess all of these frames are pretty much the same unless you buy one of the crazy expensive ones

If it is what I think it is, I bought a few of these 10ish years ago when they were being sold for $20 on ebay. I had to rethread the grip screws as neither 6-32 nor 8-32 screws fit.

                Oh interesting....
Yup, 6-32 falls right through. 8-32 is the right diameter, but the thread pitch is different. I'm guessing this is threaded something metric.
