Luxe Question

So i found a nice adrenalin Luxe online but the price is high (To me atleast), Asking over $3K. comes with matching mech frame and only one freak insert. What's the difference between the Adrenalin Luxe and Luxe X? bsides milling and price? and if i buy a Luxe X , will a TM40 mech frame fit on a Luxe X? is it worth the price difference?

Side note: if i purchase this Adrenalin Luxe, I would have to sell most of my markers to make up for the difference which consist of the following:
Angel LCD with Angel Air Reg/tank
2k11 G6R
RF Urban Camo Phantom
Bushmaster 2000
GZ intimidator.

I also have a MVP that's not going anywhere, and a Bonzai Splash CS2 with mech frame (don't know if i should get rid of).

what would you guys do? keep my current collection or sell everything and buy the Adrenalin Luxe??

Not the time to buy a Luxe definitely not for premium. There’s talk of a new one. Im assuming with PE’s new engine. Wait 6months the Adrenaline will come down a bit if that’s what you really want.

Word is they are already testing the new engine on the pro circuit in older bodies so possibly backwards compatible. Difference I’m sure will be minimal like all DLX drops. I would really like a CS in a Luxe frame. I like long setups and the luxe is so comfortable to shoot. My ICE was so unreliable I didn’t even try the TM40. But I have shot the mech frame and it’s sweet. I just don’t want a fancy maker to play 10 man with, and my CSR just collects dust. I would just keep the MVP and CS2 they shoot great.

To answer the first few questions, the TM40 mech frame doesn't fit on the Luxe X as it comes standard, BUT if you swap the manifold assembly from the TM40 to the Luxe X, it will work. I don't know how readily available that part is anymore though. The Adrenaline Luxe is just a fancier TM40 (it comes with all the adrenaline parts like the trigger and F16 bolt, and of course the very nice milling), and compared to the X, the TM40 itself has a slightly different valve that everyone says copied the PE CS2 haha.

My primary marker is just a normal TM40, and I shot it side by side with a teammates CS2 and liked the CS2's shot a little better. Unless you really really like the anno/milling of the Luxe you're looking at, I would just stick with the CS2 especially if you already have the mech frame for it. Hope that helps!

I am going to agree with others. I expect a new luxe and shocker to be released at some point based on the sale prices of the shocker amps and tm40 s. My favorite marker I play with is a tm40 (mech). I don’t feel a difference when shooting an adrenaline luxe side by side with a tm40. I do think the f16 bolt is sweet and I want to find one. If you like your cs2, then it is probably not worth selling lots of other stuff to get an adrenaline in my opinion.

I think the tm40 is better than the luxe x. I haven’t had any problems with my tm40, but I don’t abuse it and I maintain it.

I don’t think the price is warranted on the adrenaline luxes in the secondary market. It’s just insane how much they are going for. Part of me is disappointed because I like them and would use one but I can’t spend that on one single marker.

yeah i agree. that's exactly how i feel about the adrenalin luxe. Beauty of a marker but those prices are absurd.
