My method of dealing with Autocockers has always been to tear all of the pneumatics off and slap on a pump but, in a fit of masochistic optimism, I picked up Junglepeanut's blue AutoTrracer. Putting a pump on an automated conversion seems a bit much so I need to actually figure this out for once. I've spent most of the afternoon tearing it down, cleaning it up, adding a little this & that, and figuring out braided airlines for it. Don't look half bad...
So the question is this: The barbs on the 3-way(TASO), reg(DYE?), and ram(Shocktech?) all look to be different sizes - is microline one-size-fits-all? The micro that I have looks like it will fit the 3-way just fine and the reg with some aggressive pushing, the ram seems a bit much. The other rams that I have rattling around in parts bins look about the same...
Have I done too much mixing and matching? Swap out barbs? Am I trying to be too delicate here?
