What is used to finish inside Carbon barrels?

Are they just polishing up the jell coat. I picked up some CF material to make a stick feed. But it’s got a smaller bore than I expected. I mathed wrong when converting metric. It would make good barrel material tho. Just not sure how well it will hold up. It’s like a perfect .681 and pretty smooth already.

I know I could get it like glass with some polish compound a drill and an old swab.

CA glue to seal cut edges and a 2 part polyurethane clear for the surface. If you are already at 0.681 you might want to thin the clear but it will be harder to keep out runs on the bore.

Spin it on a lathe as it cures

Also, that has to be one of the more obscure questions asked in the paintball world and naturally someone had an answer within an hour.
