I mean, I always list here first to keep things within the community, however…
Ive had more luck getting higher prices off of Facebook. I think it’s fair to say most of us on MCB, that mainly do business on MCB, aren’t in touch with the market outside of MCB.

At least… that’s been my experience.

Start here and give the good folks of MCB a chance, then if ya don’t get what you want, I’d move to Facebook- then finally eBay, just because of fees.

This got a real hearty laugh out of me. Very true indeed, but at least we are a friendly bunch.

Yes eventually I'll post some pics! I've been very busy lately.

Out of curiously, is paint still on the smaller side? When I left the sport, the size of most paint required at least a .681 barrel. Has that trend continued? I'm curious which barrels I might want to hold onto.

I actually do have a question. Below is an Inception Kryptonite prototype body. These were the very first bodies Simon sold as Inception Designs IIRC. Simon said there are small difference between it and the production model but nothing major.

I've been offered $350 shipped for the body (and I assume the feedneck). That seems like a very fair offer. But would I be better off selling it together or peiced apart (assuming i dont mind the trouble)? How much might it be worth as a whole gun?

The Frame is also very rare. I cannot recall who made it but it was a reputable custom cockersmith back in the early 2000s. It also has a trigger stop. For people in the-know, they know that's a great/rare feature on a slide frame.

lower Internals (that I can remember haha) Shocktech hammer, WGP 2K valve w/ KAPP high flow valve pin
front end: WGP STO LPR & 3 way, Empire ram

Paint is still on the smaller side, yes. $350 for the body is not a bad price (even with the feedneck) if it’s selling without the internals. Marker as-is might see $7/750

Best bet in FB. Do you need to know appraisals? And there's a small group of us that are likely buyers on high end stuff. If you need group suggestions, let me know.

$350 isn't a bad price. Maybe a smidge low but I'm not sure. You'll definitely make more money parting the gun than selling it complete, that's always how it works with cockers. And the frame in question is a Chris Cole frame. They're basically benchmark frames with some extra milling. Decent frames to be sure, but not highly sought after. Probably fetch $20 or so more than a regular benchmark frame.

I hve had hard time selling my high end cocker on facebook. It's possible my price is too high but I haven't had many messages inquiring about it either. Ebay might be the best bet right now.

I have not sold on ebay and am curious in your write up could you say hit me up on MCB, Reddit, PBnation if you want this for a better price? I know I have seen people post something similar but leading to their webpage on ebay sales.

no, because ebay specifically says that if they see you are trying to go around ebay they will charge you the listing fees anyway. I have seen some people post other things in the backgrounds of their listings. I may have to look into strategically placing some things in the background of my listings.

The way that I have seen it done was someone posted it in their photo watermark.

That's right! It is a Chris Cole frame! Knew someone would recognize it and nudge my memory. I appreciate the frame because it has a pre-travel trigger stop, should make it worth a few extra bucks to the right person.

              Details on the Merlin?

It's 1 of 12 round body, inline Merlins that Larry produced before retiring and closing AKA (1 of 4 with a wire detent IIRC). All AKA parts, AKA regulators, Belsales 3way & ram.

So far I've seen two Revenge V2s sold in the past year. They're the most similar thing to my Merlin. One sold for $2300 and the other for $2800. My inline Merlin has simply matte black, but I'm hoping the rarity of the gun itself will help it fetch close to that. It's probably my more prized marker, but she just doesn't get used and that's a darn sin.

I own six Merlins and I would be interested in this one. Serious interest.

Be careful guys. This is a thread about where to sell cockers and certain cockers values. It’s NOT meant to be a sales thread or to search for bids Gotta respect the rules!

I figured I'd ask here instead of making another thread: Who are some of the reputable anodizers working right now?

I have an AKA VLM project that needs to be anodized. I'm tempted to get it done and make it the autococker I keep. I was just going to keep an Orracle before lol
