A while back the orings on my Killhouse slide check I bought when I first got into paintball went. I never had an issue with it before this. I've been trying to replace the orings but I've been unable to track down the size. I picked up an unbranded (gold) one in the same style from I&I to try and find the oring size. It's very similar to 015 but the cross section is slightly larger, I guess it's metric? When I tried 015 orings in this it would blow gouges into the inner diameter of the orings. 015 is the black and the mystery size is orange. Is anyone familiar with what orings this style of slide check uses?
On a related note, I also bought 2 other styles of slide check (last picture) as replacements and both of those leak too. The black slide check I bought used in a lot and seems to use 015 orings (could be the same situation as above). The plated one I bought supposedly new advertised as Empire and when it showed up it was obviously either used or NOS so I replaced the orings. It looks to take 014 orings. When I first tried airing it up it leaked like crazy and then after fiddling with the slide a bit it sealed up and worked long enough for me to be able to use it for testing. Then I come back to it today and it's leaking like before.
All of these slide checks I'm lubricating with grease and they seem much more loose to move with the replacement orings than I remember my original slide check being.
Right now I'm just really frustrated and tired of buying crap that's not as advertised and not rebuildable. I'll probably end up buying a Ninja or Lapco one and calling it a day, but it would be nice to be able to use what I pay for.
