Did this velocity adjuster come as a kit with a back block or was the whole marker originally sold like this?

Yup, fully agree I only saw those as kits. I know one of my old teammates love it.

    How does it work?
got a hollow hex attached to the threads that slide in and out with the back block or is it fixed to the body?

Bought this a few weeks ago. It allows external thumb adjustments for an autococker. Pretty neat shape on the back block. The IVG / RVA piece goes into th...

Yes! Exactly like the video. I like it's operation, but the length of the dialer inside of the body kind of forces me to use a shorter but stiffer spring to get the velocity up. Not really much of a problem, but it makes for a stiffer pump stroke.

Yup, Clay (my teammate) had to clip springs. I remember some tournaments did not allow them because they "made it easy" to adjust on the field.

        Thanks, that's clever

So it stays attached to the body and the back block move normally (with a notch to accommodate the knob)?

Thatโ€™s neat! Is it hard to turn by hand?

only when it is cocked, then you have the pressure of the compressed spring to compete with. Even then, it isn't terrible.
