Does this take cocker threads? And many more questions.

Bought this on eBay advertised as an Old School Diablo Nelspot Nelson Phantom.

    Is that right?

The barrel is detachable. Does it take cocker threads? Can i swap out for a different pump handle? And can I use a 68/4500 HPA tank with it? Is there any alterations that can be made to swap out the frame so I can mount a tank to a drop forward?

    Thanks!

No, that's a diablo it had its own thread.

Maybe, nothing was really made for them but something else might fit with modifications....or custom

Yes, if it's high pressure (800-850) output.

That's an m16 lug grip.... A phantom 45 grip block can be swapped on it and that uses normal bottom lines.

    Edit:

    It's an NPS Diablo

The Diablo guns share barrel threads with the CMI pumps like the Thunderpig and Tusker, as CMI was the OEM for these guns.
I don't know of anything else that is compatible.

When I was cleaning out an old store I ran across a pair of J&J brass barrels that were threaded for CMI/Diablo guns but I don't know whether those were from a limited run or were custom-ordered by that store. In any case I sold them off over a decade ago.

Also, OP, know that this is a Diablo Deluxe, not the base level Diablo. It has a thinner, lighter barrel and has an undercocking pump arm like a CCI Phantom. Contrary to the eBay listing, this gun is NOT a Phantom, and shares no significant parts compatibility with a Phantom.

Does that mean the m16 lug grip cannot be swapped for a phantom 45 grip block?

You're in luck there. Most any M-16 grip should be compatible, the CCI .45 block included.

is the frame metal? is the trigger a hinge?

Since barrels might be hard to find, you should get yourself some detent fingers to prevent rollouts. I suspect that the trracer size ones would work, but you would have to test it to know for sure.

I used to own one of these. It was converted to stock class by the previous owner.

The trigger frame is wider than a phantom, so if you switch to a .45 block, there's going to be a noticable lip. Like, 1/8" or so on both sides.

Barrel is removable, but as said earlier, it's proprietary. Too thin to be Freak bored. So, maybe you'll have some luck with the CMI advice posted earlier.

Nice shooter though. Never gave me any problems at all.

What was your setup? Thinking of using an asa on the bottom of the grip and running a macro line up to where the asa is now. Is that possible? And if so what would I need to make it happen?

I just ran a bucket changer off the rear ASA, and used a Phantom .45 grip and just dealt with the step in the grip. Then I used a cheap angled duck bill with an old air-through T stock, and I just plugged all of the air ports. Really nice lightweight setup.

If you want to run a bottom line, you'll need to either find a Lonestar adapter, or use a .45 frame and an ASA, then yeah, just run a hose up the the rear ASA. I have a Hammer setup similarly. I'll snap photos tonight.

Sooo should have picked up a bunch of these when 888 cleared them out for 48.88.

Frame is aluminum, possibly cast. It's definitely not anodized and you have to watch for the paint/powder coat to be rippling or bubbling off.
