Are brass macro fittings or braidedline a thing

As the title states are brass macro fittings or braidedline a thing, I wanna say I saw a mech karni with a bunch of brass bits that had brass macro fittings but not 100% sure

Also what about brass fittings with hardline, or does all it take is one wrong move or tweak to make it leak

Yes is the simple answer. Actually most metal "Macro" fittings are made from brass that are then Nickle/Chrome plated. You could quite easily strip the plating off any off the shelf macro fitting if it is rebuildable (non-rebuildable you would be destroying their seal without a way to replace it).

• CCM made some Brass versions of their fittings (I have a set I have yet to install on my Pyre).
• Non-Plated Braided line was actually pretty common in paintball years ago and you can still get it and any good Hydraulic shop can make one up.

• Brass hardline is very doable you can even use it in standard Macroline fittings but it is easy to make the fitting leak because the tubing does not give. I prefer to use flare-less compression fittings with hardline.

Yes.... I've had a bunch of brass macro fittings from Tippmann carbines. I've seen brass braided lines but not often
