Threads do not looked to be stripped. Are there any other possibilities?
-Is that one of the import knockoff bodies? If not, as Soups notes, that sure looks a lot like old Angel to me.
Other options? Only one I'm aware of was the later '03 and up Shockers, at least for the first few generations. That was basically a copy of the Angel threads, except an Imperial pitch- off the top of my head, something like 13/16"-32 or something like that.
And I'm not aware of anyone having used that. Old Angel was popular because, for a number of years there, about a dozen companies made aftermarket feed necks for Angels- mostly tall "stovepipe" stuff, since it was thought that the tall ball stack aided feeding (this was of course back in the agitator days, before force-fed loaders came out) but also later the early clamping stuff. They were common and inexpensive, so that thread got used quite a bit. (The AGD ULE body being a notable example.)
If that body is NOT that, it's either a one-off (whoever made that body, also made a matching feed neck, and didn't care about making it backward compatible with something else) or there's the possibility that the neck you're using to check it, either isn't an Angel, or is damaged or worn.
Honestly I have no idea what body this is. OpusX gifted it to me, he got it from "Somewhere". The reason for the gift was because the body milling is "off". The lines on the cuts aren't straight, and there is a weird taper to them, it's kind of visible in the first photo. It's also been drilled for eyes. It's very definitely not anything WGP spec. Flocker of some kind is HIGHLY likely. I tried the feed neck off an old sentinel and it didn't even seem close. Same for an old CCM angel feed neck that eventually made its way on to a buddies ULE mag. I'm confident the feed necks tested are good.
