Any tips on dying acp pump handles?

I ordered an acp gold kit with white delrin handle with plans to dye it to match the black to purple fade on the marker. I currently plan to use rit fabric dye and clean the part then let it soak in heated purple dye. Then dip in heated black dye to get the fade.

This is how I did the ano so figured it would be the same. Am I correct to assume that? Or is there a better way.

Chuck E Ducky has done quite a bit of dyeing and would be a good resource I reckon.

Rit Synthetic about 120* lil dawn to cut surface tension. For a fad you will need a steady hand and gradually pull it from the solution. Longer it’s in the darker it will get. Some plastics take color better. It’s a balance to hot you will get stress cracks to cold it won’t take color if you get runs remove it immediately or it will be permanent. Make sure you have something to catch drips after take your time.

The blue/ purple proshield was a yellow highlighter that a buddy dyed with the wrong stuff it came out baby poop green and he gave it to me. I dyed it with straight royal purple came out a lil more blue then I wanted but looks great. I was hoping for a closer match to my IZE purple frames I got from another member here.

It’s not super difficult. Just take your time. It takes a lil luck / trial and error to if you are trying to match stuff.
