    Restoration projects.

    Aloha to everyone🤙
I'm new to the site but a old paintballer from the days when mech cockers and automags ruled the field. I bought both of these markers new 20+ years ago. The gx3 stared life as a mech and turned into what you see now. I then purchased the Excalibur later in early 2004 and shot about a case of paint through it during a day on the field. A month later a friend needed to use a marker so I handed him the Excalibur. I gave instructions on do not touch any regulators on this marker to increase your fps. He handed the Excalibur back to me with it hissing gas down the barrel. I put it away along with the cocker and that was the last time I ever played. After years of being stored properly the cocker held air and fired just fine. So here is a few pics of the projects. I also will take some pics of old rams I need identified when I get a chance.

I should have added that I'm not too familiar with the Excalibur and need some guidance on the hissing down the barrel. I'm ordering a complete oring kit and praying that's the issue.

theres an AKA tech here thats very affordable and does a great job rebuilding these if youre interested in just paying someone to rebuild it.

Super Nova, Thank you for the information and link. I was thinking I would work on the Excalibur myself. I know my way around a cocker and the Excalibur looks simpler mechanically. I have the special tool and pressure gauge from aka to do the tear down and o-rings. I know the lpr was cranked and that caused the whole slight hissing out of the bolt. Any suggestions, or don't make this mistake on the Excalibur is appreciated!!
