I’m working on a marker that has been given me some trouble. I finally figured out the right valve and spring combo. Sorta I want to see if I can figure out a way to refine it a lil more. Any way to resurrect some of that awesome 20 pages of Knowledge drop we lost when MCB got 2020’d...
I forget how to tune for efficiency. I think I remember You want to get the marker shooting as fast as possible. Adjust threw the IVG? I forget.
I feel like I need a stiffer valve spring like I was using when the valve wouldn’t open and add more force behind the hammer with a custom super stiff hammer spring. I think the valve is staying open to long lowering efficiency. I may need take a trip the the hardware store for some super stiff springs. I want the valve opening and closing as fast as possible using the least amount of C02 required to get field speed. Am I completely off base on this theory?
Currently setup with a heavy MadMan spring for the hammer And a Palmer’s HP valve but using the lighter spring combo it came with. He has a stiffer valve spring but I can’t get enough out of the hammer to get it to open the valve with the stiff valve spring installed.
