    Brass or copper asa filters

So I notice older makers that use co2 they have brass or copper filters .
my question is does this effect pressure? seems my markers with this I am unable to run hpa and get 280 no matter what I set the marker to unless I use co2. I'm thinking it has something to do with it restricting flow... I'm going to drill it out and see what happends
I'm trying to get 280 on this marker with hpa

Yes get rid of it. You will improve hpa fps.

It's unnecessary with HPA, so getting rid of it won't be an issue. But in my experience, it makes little difference to velocity.

Depends on the marker.. personally I like having that little extra layer of protection… that’s one thing about PE markers people don’t seem to mention much, but I’ve seen what crap get pumped into tanks from air systems that aren’t properly maintained… if it’s an older stacked tube blowback (Spyder etc) I like clipping the valve springs on those.. gives me an instant velocity boost

Looks like one of your ATS, the filter is because CO2 used to have crap inside (solid debris)
Removing it will not improve velocity, but it _may_ Improve shot to shot consistency ...
If you want to improve velocity on HPS on the ATS you will have to machine the inside of the entire piece and maybe modify the ram.
