If I changed a valve or 2 out which would y'all recommend the balance valve from the vs line or the eko valve

From what I've read, the VS balanced valve is the way to go for low pressure but dosen't work at like anything above 300psi. Or (also for low low pressure) the AKA tornado valve if you're willing to spend the coin. It sounds like at least a couple of your guns already have the eko valve so no point replacing like with like. There's also the magnaport which seems interesting but I've heard it doesn't like going below 600psi. Could be an option for a high pressure build.

Which later spyders? I've taken apart pretty much everything there is outside of the balance valve and spyders have always had the cut out of the valve stem not a hole in the valve itself

There's a lot of stuff like JT and off brand that run the valve hole but I've never seen it on a spyder

From a quick glance, it looks like it came on the fenix, MRX, MR100, MR5, etc. Here's the ANS page for the vavle body.
ANSgear is the worlds largest online paintball store. Huge selection of Paintball Guns, Tanks, Masks, Loaders, Harnesses, Barrels and more. Fast & Free shipping will keep you up to date with all of the best paintball gear.

I read some threads on LP spyders where people got some good results with these above 400 or so psi. We'll see if I wasted my money or not.

Weird, wonder when that changed because I've had most of those you listed cross my work bench

I'ma try a balance valve then, I have enough stock valves if it gives me a headache

Also me and my niece went digging through my junk trunk again and we found some bodies and a frame that had a battery in it that seems to function just fine it's off of a mongoose, although one of the bodies had a random hole right behind the valve retaining screw plugged why do this I'ma guess it lets excess blow back gas out or something, I believe I got it from a member here that had built a LP Spyder that he couldn't get to work

Some bodies use a set screw behind the valve to retain it instead of a pin like earlier Spyders.
