    Pod Pack Recommendations?

I'm in search of a new pod pack. Ideally one with straps; I'm way to clumsy to dive & slide without them. Nothing like going to pull a pod and finding out it is either soup or empty...
I have an old Dye Assault Pack (I think?), a Dye Attack pack (I think?), an HK Zero G something or other (I don't like it at all), and a Carbon CC pack. The Carbon pack is awesome, other than the lack of straps, the Dye packs are old and the velcro, stitching, and elastic is failing, and the HK pack I just don't like (I really should sell it...).

    General requirements:
    • Straps
    • 4+ or 5+ (I usually play in the back / 3 spot)
    • Comfy
    • Durable (as much as can be)
    • Looks good (plain black is fine, but I do like pretty things)
Any recommendations? I'm not a huge HK fan and I am totally open to trying out a small / independent manufacturer. Big fan of Boots Theory, so price isn't the sole factor here.

    Thanks! 🍻

Hard to find for some reason but I love the Exalt pod pack. They only made one kind and I guess not many of them. The belt is sized for not big boys so it's nice not having extra length to worry about.

Other than that, I really also like the GI Glide pack. Well made, comfy, meets all your requirements.

If your looking for budget friendly empire has a pack thats $25 and comes in a bunch of colors and prints, IV been thinking about picking up the aloha one just because, but IV been hesitant cause I'm a little guy and most packs just don't fit me I can't get them tight enough

I have a Zeus pack and love it, it's built well(player company) comfy and it's kinda in between a strapless and Velcro pack, it has straps that slide over the end of the pod to hold it in so it's held in like a Velcro strap pack but is quiet for stuff like woodsball, I'll dig it out and take a pic of it cause I don't to many people have them

I used to love nxe packs and they were the best if you ask me but sadly they are no longer around, they had a $20 pack that you just couldn't beat price wise for what you got,

speaking of nxe anyone ever get their hands on one of their loaders to try out, sorry I know thats a random question lol

Do you have a link to their website? I'm not finding anything.

And thanks for all the recommendations- I'll check them out!

I have got to give HK credit when they do something right: My 4 year old HSTL basic 4+5 strapped pack in plain black has been comfortable and held up remarkably well, especially for a $45 pack. They really overbuilt that thing.

The Automag: Not as clumsy or random as an electro. An elegant marker for a more civilised age.

True. While I haven't used my HK pack that much, it definitely is made well.

I got one of the newer JT fx packs I won in a raffle and that thing has been solid AF and comfortable. They're only about $54 and they have good cushiony back support too
