Same here, I've only ever seen them as whole assemblies

Also, in the valve, the brass piece that the cup seal seals to, has an o ring behind it. Some people don't realize it's there and replace the cup seal when they have a leak.

Thank you. Never taken apart one of these valves. As you might have guessed the learning process is part of the fun versus buying stuff that is a bit fresher and doesn't need any help. I've had tippmanns before but these guys are getting legitimately "old" now at 23 years so they actually need a bit of love. Good to know its flippable. In about 20 more years when all the cup seals have gone bad and been flipped twice people will be wanting them. Get ready everyone. Huge market for it :P

I'd have to agree on the polish, just a light scrub with decent metal polish and a paper towel (or 15) makes the action that much smoother. Dunno if it really improves the performance, but it makes it a nicer to use marker.
