I have a squall on the way, and I have a line on a back bottle ASA. I always find the PPS instapierce setups finicky, especially for something like a Squall where the barrel configuration makes it tricky to get enough torque to really crank the cartridge down. So I want to have the option of running it backbottle.
Obviously the simplest option is run a line from the ASA to a dummy 12 gram, but I feel like that's a very temperamental setup - loosen the 12g knob a little bit and it's leaking. The 12 gram seal is the weak point. Are there any other options? I'd love to be able to replace the 12 gram pierce assembly with an air line input, but I don't think that's feasible. I know I've seen PPS semis with a nipple out the back of the LPR, but I don't know if that's an input or what.
Thoughts appreciated.
