SL-68 (Original, not II)

Came across one on FB Market. Was lumped in with a larger lot of items.

Asked him what he wanted for the SL-68 only, with shipping (in a different state).

No idea what these are worth, don't seem them pop up often. I did find 2 on here, one sold for $125, and one is still for sale at $115.

Is this their value? about $100-$125 shipped?

I think they are 75 dollar shooters myself. Dont get me wrong SLs are nice shooters, and I have a buddy who mods them up and makes they shoot well on HPA, but the cast body and lack of aftermarket parts slims your buyer market up quite a bit. I personally dislike the rear grip and the knurled back cap cutting into the webbing of my hand.

Tinybear has a nice palmers sl 68 barrel for his , that is really nice for small paint ,but he said they are pricey! J&J might still sell barrels for these, but not sure if bore size is too big now?

I took an a5 threaded pps barrel. Dusted the threads off and chamfered the breach to match an sl ii bol. It shot really well. It barrels are pretty easy to make work on an sl.
