No, an "anti double cock" is a feature in the sear and trigger- the old Trracers had that, mainly for rental use. (Kept noobs from pumping the barrel full of paint.)
The detent was just an 'anti blowback' feature, and helped keep the bolt in place. With an "anti kink" bolt and hammer, there could be little friction holding the bolt closed, and with a heavy aluminum pump, it could fall open when you raised the gun vertically. A detent helped both that and the slight "blowback" when firing.

This would explain why when I pulled the trigger, it was already cocked, I could not cock it again. I did not want to force by putting too much stress.
Likely that spring or bb might be a little rusted. Some WD40 will help with that.Leave a comment:

-Found out recently the Puma had those, too.
On the threads, yeah, I'd be rather surprised of those weren't the same as on Spartans and Centurions. They're close to, but by no means interchangeable with, 'Cocker threads.

On the delrin pump there is a spring loaded bb with a channel around the barrel to lightly lock the pump into place in the forward position. Similar to what was on some early Sheridan (PGP) pump handles.Leave a comment:

Yeah I was leaning towards keeping it the way it is. -
Yeah that is the same article I came across. That handle is not delrin, freaking heavy and solid for sure. Can knock out someone with it.Great find. This one is like an earlier example since it has the wintec frame and the aluminum pump, similar to what David Craig (AGS) was using on his Bloodsuckers after AGS and Taso Split. You can see in this article the advertised style:

Mine has different threads and the delrin pump as well as the WWP spec frame and valve body. I'm missing the sight rail though.

ahhh, its a paintball gun, it is meant to be used modify away. I see no purpose in wall hangers but that is me. Restored it could be used but with the small ass paint would be more frustration at the field the it is worth I am guessing. Because this is a less common old school marker is the only reason I would want it and then modify it. I have modern markers, a modified old school marker has more meaning and interest for me.
Freak Boring - BMC Fabrication - https://www.bmcfabricationservice.com/ He even modified a LAPCO Grey Ghost not too long ago to cut down a uni-body marker make an A/C thread barrel out of what was cut off [and did an excellent job]. I am sure you could get him to turn down the barrel to allow room for a pump spring Then you would still have to make an insert for the pump handle and come up with or make a over the barrel spring. For the wire detent I milled it myself with a manual mill at work. I have not done a ball detent to date and it would not have to be a ball it could be a Spyder or PE detent but those you would have to figure out a retainer. -
Something this obscure... Personally trade it off to a collector for something less obscure to cut on. -
I hope to do that this weekend. Yeah she needs a good rebuild/cleaning. Will likely give it a good WD40 soaking.
Who did you did you get to do the freak boring and detent.
Do you think doing that will take away from this being 1990 era.Leave a comment:

No, I'm betting Bacci was though. They are vere obscure guns. I'm not really much of a nelson fan and I mostly only collect wgp stuff or things still in their boxes now. -
