Spyder icon x, blue frame and foregrip worth anything

Ok so I got a spyder icon x in a trade and it has a pretty neat blue plastic frame, a rubber foregrip, and really nice(atleat to me) blue grips to match, is this worth anything

For some reason I have a burning desire to build this so if anyone wants the blue bits I'd be down to trade them for a new style spyder frame and a chrome/polished silver VASA that takes standard paintball regs/gas throughs

Well, you were right to ask here. I'm not sure how compatible parts are between these and Spyders, as I believe Icons were made by 32 Degrees. Someone else prolly has more knowledge, but if you want to build a blue Spyder, I has mass quantities of parts to hook ya up.

What's aluminum scrap going for by you...lol

Basically it's worth fixing up and giving to a local kid.

And these are 100% Spyder clones as they are fully compatible. (Edit) Except they use cocker detents.

Thanks for clarifying, I couldn't remember if the threads and spacing in the front block were the same.

The threads might be non metric... But not the end of the world

Since most of paintball is in SAE threads, that's a win in my book. Don't need to carry metric allen wrenches

Same as a Spyder except the front block and grip frame screws are very uncommon coarse threads, so don’t lose them! Everything should bolt on fine though if you keep the stock screws. Front block can be swapped out for a Spyder one using a Spyder’s screw but you’ll need the Icon screws to install a Spyder frame.

That blue frame is worth less than the used up orings inside. I have this exact IconX, given to me by a friend who doesn't play anymore. It cracked in half right infront of the trigger guard. Honestly a terrible gun.

As others stated, it's a Spyder clone. My opinion, one of the better clones, maybe even better than Spyders, too. Standard threads, and better machining quality. All o-rings are 015, and the cocker detent is nice. I turned one of my Icons into a closed bolt pump, and it works so good. In its semi auto form, it's not a great marker.

I have the better semi auto frame. It's full metal, and has standard ASA mount screws. Message me if you want it, we can work something out.

Or you can try to snag an E-frame from Ebay, but then you're already spending more than the markers worth.
