TRS-80 *(console only and several cartridges/joystick or two. That would complete, the keyboard/console)

Can anyone here give me a realistic estimate for this without me having to go down horrible rabbit holes...?😂

I the first one I don't think had joystick fancy stuff, the only option was an floppy dist reader to same your work.

Edit: rethreading it, are you talking about the pre-assembled kit from Tandy Radio Shack, aka: Radio Shack, aka: TRS or something else?

Yep that one... Side loading model, chunky cartridges with funny(smaller than Atari 2600) controllers. That was my first personal computer (Big Xmas/birthday present that year..🥴). But, the Commodore 64(?) or T-1000. Were the school models available then... Gateways was Grandpa D's later, choice for him...I used that for the math games/adventures stuffs, when there.😉

XEMON the controllers, look like these. But, I didn't have the tape drive. Our first early, family "Dad's" computer, had one of those along with the other accessories (printer, etc). My TRS-80 had thick and chunky cartridges, that looked like, a baby between ...a cassette cartridge and an 8-track. But, it was a circuit board inside. 🤣

i think those were after market accessories, the model 1 was just the man computer and keyboard, teh monitor and tape reader were optional accessory sold by Radioshack.

The first one that the old fella brought home(barely looked at it), I preferred the outdoors more, at that time ..🙃, ...was a basic looking beige, multi component machine. That had all kinds of different, drives on it. ...had a lot of accessories.🧐...🤔...😆
