actually in all seriousness, not so much at odder things, but at under siege III , there was a clear moment in game 3 where I wished I had one to lay down a smokescreen near a tree bunker I thought I could get to......would it have worked , would the wind have blown right way, would the smoke cloud have been big enough to allow me to make it to that tree, who knows!!?? But we'll see if it comes in handy in 2 weeks , or if it just makes a pretty $12 cloud that gives me asthma !'96 RF Mini Cocker, '95 RF Autococker, 68-Automag Classic, Banzai Splash Minimag, Gen-E Matrix, Shoebox Shocker 4x4, Montneel Z-1, Tippmann Pro-Carbine, Tippmann Mini-Lite, Tippmann Model-98, Tippmann 68-Special, Spyder .50 cal Opus/Opus-A , Tippmann .50 Cal Cronus , Gog Enmey .50 cal , Tippmann Vert ASA 68-Carbine, Bob Long Millennium, ICD Grey Green Marble Splash Alleycat Deluxe (runs liquid co2) , Halfblock 2K4 Prostock Autococker , 2K RF Sniper II

Lmao. Yeah find the nearest tree and aim right at a branch at a 45* angle so It inversely bounces right back to you but just far enuff that you can’t reach it without getting shot so that your able to eat smoke for.next few mins and offer no cover to where to we’re trying to cover lol.
Never buying smoke again after that farse lol.

Quick Report on Frostys Revenge , Wasaga ! It was a great day weather wise, nice and sunny at times, albeit pretty chilly.
Wasaga still can't seem to figure out the formula to run a big game without some sort of drama regarding the rules i.e. I'll let Jordan chime in on the Road Drama scene that played out !
Apart from that confusion on the rules, overall I had a really fun time. The play field ended up being a pretty narrow and long field, and it made for some exciting pushes by both sides, and lots of close up and personal gunfights.
I was very pleased with my gear yesterday. I ran my Montneel Z1 with my fresh 12oz Co2 Siphon tank for the first time, and call me impressed !!! Oh my gawd, is that gun ever fast for a blowback. And the consistency claims are true!!! I just wish I had had a bigger tank . Dr. J, hook me up!
My Tippmann Mini-Lite was next up, and running on regular Co2 , and it was a bit of a challenge, only shooting around 240-250 . It was probably a combo of the cold weather, and I might have a weaker mainspring. Anyhow, I just tried to get up closer to compensate, got 3 eliminations with it , and i was happy with that, but also kind of glad when I ran out of co2 forcing me to go get my minicocker ,which ran great, and gave me no issues per usual..... man, love that gun!
Played with that for rest of the day, and I even made the photo reel using it!

i don't know if the rules problems were the same for you, but at Frostys it got downright comical....the maps in play were tippmann town, and tank attack , and ridge runner. Their access road separated tippmann/tank on one side, and ridge on the other. The rule was supposed to be if you respawned and headed into ridge, then you had to stay in ridge until eliminated. If you headed for tipp/tank, you had to stay in tipp/tank area. And you were not allowed to trade fire across or over the road between tipp/tank, and ridge. It was super dumb decision , players were either confused about where they could go, or were flat out ignoring the rule, and cutting between both fields, lots of arguments with players, and complaints to the refs. In round 2 after lunch, the game organizers took ridge runner out of play, and that is how we got the long narrow final battle type field for the rest of the day.....

Ah yes, the road. What a colossal clusterf*** that was.
Wasaga's ineptness didn't stop there... they still had entrances labeled "red" and "blue" from the big game, so naturally people tried to use them. It lead to a bit of a delay.
My favorite is the chrony check going on to the field - no clearly set area for that, nah, we'll just have a player shoot over a chrony without really making sure other players are out of the way.
Otherwise, an enjoyable day. 🙂
I ended up settling on the 98 Custom for the day - it worked flawlessly, and I managed to actually tag a few people with it, a feat normally reserved for my Mini, so it's gone up a few notches in the rotation.
The Blazer was cranky about the swill I was feeding it, so it went back into the gearbag to sulk... I don't blame it, the paint looked like Stevie Wonder is in charge of QA over at RPS.
