https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-.../co2-cartridge That's a hard no from the TSA. I'm sure you can be covered. I'll check to see what I have but I'm betting I could sell you some.

We can get you hooked up on 12g. You can’t fly with them. I got a big box from redrock I can bring you sum if you need LMK.

Wish it was closer, but I'm still considering it. 2-1/2 hour drive one way.
How strict are they on the Stock Class rules? Do people sneak in with spring-feeds or tanks? Or is there like an inspection as you enter the field?
Not that I'm planning any shenanigans, just curious how they run something like this.

I am a little over 3 hours away and last fall I went just for the Sunday game. It was well worth the drive, but this time I am camping out for sure.
As for following the rules...
At the last event. I saw a guy jump into a bunker with Slim and he had a 21 (max is 20) round stick feed and I saw Slim literally pick the man up over his head and break him in half. From that point on I only used half filled 12 grams and loaded paint into the gun one at a time.

Lol, you guys crack me up. As I said, no intention of any maleficence, just curious what to expect. I haven't played at a field in almost 20 years, and never played stock class at that.
If I did go, I'd probably find a local hotel or B&B. I've never been much of a camper, and a shower would be nice after a day of runnin-and-gunnin
-
In the fall I got a hotel Saturday night before going, closest hotel was still a half hour away. It was nice have the continental breakfast, tv ,shower, and all, but I for sure felt like I missed out on the Saturday night fun. I'm like minded though, id pay $100 for a nice bed, hot shower, and fresh fruit in the morning. However I'll be camping this time around.

That barrel tip you sent me makes all the difference!

That was me that sent you the barrel tip

NONOBLITUS Ohh man, I am sorry, I got confused! I forgot Hobbes gave me a deal on a for some CCM internals... Hobbes, the internals makes all the difference in my cocker pump, and NONOBLITUS the tip makes all the difference on the Sterling, lol. People stop hooking me up and giving me deals, I can't keep them all straight! Start ripping me off, and I'll never forget!

I wish I didn't have to drive 3 and a half hours to attend my own event, but as there are no fields closer who will provide awesome playing fields, great refs, allow BYOP for the main event, include free camping and all of the other amazing things that Adventure Game gives us, I just enjoy the ride.
Regarding the rules...
All of my events (and most other stock-class events in the Northeast) use the new stock-class 2.0 rules. The specifics can be found at StockClassHQ.com HERE.
There is no equipment inspection prior to game play, but the refs are instructed to keep their eyes open. In the past 12 years we haven't had a single report of anyone trying to sneak in equipment that didn't meet the new 2.0 criteria. Even so, I still make it clear during the rules that if anyone is caught auto-triggering, using a spring feed or cheating in any way, they will be immediately ejected from the event with no refund. I think the biggest reason that cheating has never been an issue is because the vast majority (if not all) of stock class players enjoy this format because it embraces good sportsmanship, skill and fair play. Essentially, this is a "gentleman's game". No regular that attends these events would tolerate cheating, and I'm quite sure the group as a whole would turn on any cheater like a pack of rabid wolves before I could even address the issue. We have a great bunch of players who have earned each other's trust and respect. I love these guys!

Thanks for chiming in.
Makes sense, I feel like the crowd at an event like this would be more of the honorable type, not the kids with the latest gear trying to light up some new rental player.
Sounds like an awesome event. I may have to just suck it up and go lol.

It’s a lot of the same guys that play every spring and fall. It’s hands down the best dam paintball you could ever ask for. You will not be disappointed. You should really try and make it it’s a great opportunity to shoot that phantom you just snagged the way it was meant to be shot. Also camping is half the fun. Night time laser tag, the bar stays open late, we do a Campfire toast. It’s a really good time! Looks like the Canadian border might be open by then so we may have some of those crazy knuckle heads coming down to play. It’s worth the drive also bring friends.

Seeing as how I just snagged myself a stock class Grey Ghost here on the forums, I'll be there this year as a first-time SC n00b!

Shooter311 might be hunting yah guess he was to slow on that one. He’s got enough tricked out markers anyway. Nice snag BTW hell of a way to jump into Stock Class. Welcome!

That's the difference between Chuck E Ducky. He goes after people seeking revenge. I personally take the high road and just run scared praying I don't get shot out in the first 30 seconds. 😜. Seriously though ketzer7 I wanted the ghost because I have never shot one before. If you wouldn't mind I'd love to put some rounds through your to see if I want to seek one out. Feel free to take a spin on whatever marker I have with me too! Great grab, I hope it sucks you into sc like the sterling did for me!

lol just bustin balls. If I didn’t have two big pieces on order I would have snagged that myself. I would like to check out that palmers brass barrel. I have always been curious about them.

Does anyone want some Nelson Anarchy? I'm going to bite the bullet and order a case, but if anyone else is interested we can split cost/shipping.💀 PK x Ragnastock 💀

Alexndl Saturday is FPO and Sunday is BYOP. I generally like to allot 1 bag/day. The most I've ever shot in a single day of SC was around 400 rounds.
