Boy you guys that didn't come really missed out.... We played from 10:00 until 2:30 before we finally were so tired we couldn't play anymore and the rain held out pretty much all day aside from a little spitting here and there. We played regular birthday ball as well as some modified birthday ball where we did every man for himself but with birthday ball rules. There were only four of us which makes for some really fun and difficult games.... Since one of the people that joined us was using a rental semi we even threw in a couple of games where he was running as a machine gunner against the rest of us that played standard stock class against him. I couldn’t get the day off I tried like hell. It just wasn’t I the cards. I was going to call in sick to but seen the weather and decided to save the sick day. Glad you guys made the best of the day.Comment

I'm glad the weather held out for you up there. On the CT shoreline the storm hit harder than expected. I lost power at some point in the night which resulted in near suffocation while wearing a CPAP mask. In the morning I went into the basement to fetch my paintball gear and found the floor covered in less than an inch of water as the sump pump went out. Given the lightning, insane downpour in the morning, lack of sleep and then the basement clean up, there was no way I was going to make it. It's Monday morning and I'm still mopping that shit up!Comment
