[Pumpapalooza] Headbands For A Good Cause

I haven’t tallied it all up yet, but definitely raised a few hundred bucks for my friend.

I placed the order this morning and just wanted to drop in and thank everyone who bought. I realize it’s kind of a strange way to donate, but I appreciate everyone who did without asking me to go into greater detail. I wanted to convey a friend was in need without a constant update into his personal life. I’ll update with some more vague stuff once it’s all said and done. & I’ll make sure everyone gets their headbands (shipped or in person) asap!

Hoping to do this annually for someone, but for now, this was great, thank you!

It appears the headbands are sitting on my front steps! (Don’t go rob me).
I’ll try to get the ones that need shipping out next week and as for the rest of you I should be seeing at games soon! (Hint: Pumpapalooza!)

Update on my buddy:
He’s still out of work, and while I was visiting him in Florida, he fell down a flight of stairs as we left the resort and slid into a position like the “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up” woman. Needless to say, it was hilarious. Unfortunately, it seems it was more than a couple of bumps and it’s less hilarious now as his X-rays showed some actual damage. Now he’s waiting to hear back from the surgeon- probably next week. You can’t make this shit up.

My buddy just called me. I guess his mom thought it was some kind of scam and wanted to get to the bottom of it, so… he thanked me directly and wanted me to let everyone who bought/donated that he really appreciates it and that it’s really going to help out.
