    Had a great time Sunday.

I was a little slower then I usually am. Although towards the end of the day I started feeling better. At least enough to slide into the end of the snake on frequency to shot Bart only to have him shot me pointblank in the nipple.

Today I am paying the price. Vitamin I for the win.

Thanks for an amazing weekend. It was great seeing everyone. Lots of new faces this year. The battles were intense. I had so much fun this year and I’m definitely paying for it today. There were so many cool markers this year. From flip cocking lever action rifles, DD68’s, Ducks and custom brass from all the best air smiths. The banjo marker made its appearance, sorry I couldn’t get that PGP going for you but the BanjoBlaster was wild. I was really hoping you got Jim with that snake run on the BangBus field. Thanks Slim and Eric for going above and beyond you guys Rock! This year marked our 10th Stock Class event at AG paintball and I got to say it was one of my favorites. It was really cool meeting Sgt Splatter I have always admired his art as a kid. We had a few members from the Wild geese, Damage Inc. came all the way from Detroit with an army you guys are killer ballers! TimberGhosts came up with the usual suspects love you guys! Handmade peddling the sickest soft goods. Kolby that Dump pouch you made me is Sick! Derek flew all the way from Florida. Your nephew is fearless, kid was on the front line all day with a single shot too. We had a bunch of Canadians that traveled down for the event as well. It was really nice meeting you all and catching up with the regulars. Bryson went Ham this year big bear was eating all day. Dan went for a swim, god I laughed so hard my sides felt like they were going to split. Mike Click Clacked my booty cheeks then went on a rampage well played my friend well played. I think Jimbo got it on video to. Still wish you got the flag on that one. You earned it! Corey the top hat was a nice touch.

Oh and Riot the War Crimes were well… violent. Thanks for the laughs.

As always It was fun hanging and chatting. Next year we need “hello my name is” tags because man this event keeps getting bigger. We had a great turn out Saturday especially with the moist weather. Sunday’s weather was absolutely perfect with a massive turn out even with a bunch of regulars that weren’t able to make it this year.

Thanks again, stay StockClassy, and see you for the spring game.

If the success of an event were to be judged purely on who attended, then this one will certainly be in the record books.

The New England weather was behaving like New England weather, and the fluctuating forecast dissuaded some from attending. For those that did brave the elements, they certainly made the most of it. The event kicked off with the AG Freedom Feast on Friday night with a traditional Oktoberfest food and beer menu. Apparently, it was a huge hit. Adventure Games also made sure that the camping area was clearly marked and reserved a large area for the campers. Overall, Friday night was pretty tame with most folks trading tales and prepping for the games.

Saturday brought the rain. Fortunately, the precipitation was never heavy, and the tree cover of the woods helped keep players from getting totally soaked. The Wild West missions saw some fierce action with the "Alamo" and "True Grit" scenarios providing true entertainment. The Quick Draw competition at lunchtime always gets a lot of spectators, and this event was no exception. Congrats to Chuckie from Ragnastock for taking home the Fastest Gun award. Also, apologies to Gabe Tex for the mixup. Gabe gets a free bye at the next quick draw event! The rest of the games went well, but many players packed up early to get dry and start celebrating.

While we have had a few paintball "celebrities" like Rodney from RTR, Walz, and Carter from MCB at previous events, this event brought in some true icons. Where do I even begin?
Charles "Happy" Holton, Damage Inc. from Detroit with Thad "Weltman" Drum, Gene Wood and other notable teammates, Fred "Sgt. Splatter" Moulton, and original members of the late 1980s/early 1990s championship team the New Hampshire Wild Geese (with Mike Kaye playing, team captain Cliff and Chris Morrison). We also had two old school players from the original Canadian Contingent team make the trip down again (thanks for the maple syrup!), and I did see that Carter from mcarterbrown.com stopped by, but I didn't get a chance to say hi. Combined with all of the other old-time players, I can't even begin to image how many years of combined paintball experience was present this weekend! The stories and remembrances were amazing to hear - which is why it was so hard getting players back on the field to actually play! "Happy" participated in the quick draw competition while Fred signed autographs. It was awesome!

We wrapped up Saturday night with our traditional Stock-Class Toast and after party. I'm not sure wearing PJs and bathrobes are going to become a thing, but it certainly was a whimsical sight to see players dressed ready for bed while doing shooters out of 10-round tubes. Many thanks again to Snack Shot for sponsoring it!

The weather on Sunday was perfect and a welcome relief to all. We jammed in as many games as possible on as many fields as we could playing true, old-school woods-ball. While not too many flag capture patches were awarded, it just went to show how challenging the games were. Suffice it to say that the main event went well, and everyone had a blast.

A huge thanks to all who came out, and to all who help make these events possible. First and foremost, Aric who owns AG and Snack Shot, along with all of the field staff, refs and tech support at Adventure Games and staff at Snack Shot. Thanks to our vendor/players - Colby and crew from Handmade Paintball, Vito, Atom-Jayy (Adam), and Anna (my little helper). Special thanks to all those who either booked a flight, crossed a national border or drove across multiple states to attend! It's all of the stock classy players who show up that make these events as awesome as they are. I appreciate you all, and we'll see you at the next event!
