Get ready for the 8th annual Summer Stockstice!

Saturday June 14 at Xtreme Paintball in Agawam, MA
•Gates at 9, games kick off at 10.
•Admission is $20 if you pre-reg. $30 at the field.
•Field paint only. $25 a bag and cases from $55-65

We’ll be playing the usual stock class and single shot shenanigans, and of course the highly anticipated single shot showdown! For the uninitiated, this is a single shot free for all with the last man standing claiming ultimate victory, and the coveted “deadeye” patch. Come get some!

A friendly reminder...

If we want to see attendance to this event grow beyond the Ragnastock regulars (which we all should), then a lot more needs to happen in regard to promoting it outside of the little MCB bubble. Someone needs to create a Facebook event for this and include as many details as possible - date, time, location, entry fee cost, pre-reg cost, cost of paint, game formats, a link to the field website, etc, etc, etc. I've already created the graphics for it to be promoted in multiple stock-class groups on FB and Instagram, but without a FB event link, then these graphics are worthless. After the MCB hack, a LOT of players never returned, and many opted to switch over to FB, Insta and other platforms. Unfortunately, MCB is not the go-to platform for old school paintball like it once was. If the goal is to keep this a team event only, then fine. But if we want to welcome new players to the format, then the only way is to get the word out on the primary social media platforms.

Happy with the usual attendance mate. Quality over quantity. Ragnastock, Pump Kings and friends are plenty. 40 or more players on our usual fields would be a detriment to the fun. Nobody wants to play stacked 4 high behind a bunker until attrition sets in and movement can finally happen. I don’t make money on this event, so I put in enough effort to set up the game and remind folks it’s happening. Just want like minded people to come out for shens and love of the game. If I were hosting a multi day event with a legitimate draw and interest in growing the sport, my efforts would reflect that. Appreciate the graphics though.
