    Coastal NC Players?

Looking to establish a group of people for events, put a team together or schedule meet-ups to play.

I am in the Camp Lejeune area and half the time I show up to the field I end up leaving because the juice isn't worth the squeeze.

First post on MCB so if there is a better category/place to ask this question, please let me know.

Might be helpful but I'm mid 30s, played my first game in 98. First tournament was with a Vaporized B2K in 2002. I played in PNW scene until 2011. Last year got full on back into it. I play stock class, have a cocker, and the typical tournament markers.

Talk to Nish he’s down your way.

How far are you from Wolverine Paintball in Hendersonville.

I can usually find good games at Black Ops when I’m down that way but I think that’s more south of you.

It is not close somewhere around 5 hrs, NC is pretty big and they are about as far away from each other as you can get.

We have a pretty good group in Moncks Corner, SC (Paintball Charleston) but that is about 4 hrs. away. There is Black Ops in Myrtle Beach, a lot closer, have good turn outs and also do Big/Scenario games, I think the next is in March. Wish I could help out with a regular group. Put together a good day of play and a lot of us from SC are willing to travel to new places for a good day or weekend of play occasionally.

The Charleston Pump Group meets up at PBC the last Saturday of the month. Let me know when you are coming down and I'll see about getting the group together. Sadly you have missed PBC at the old field (was awesome). The current field is okay with an emphasis on built fields vs. woodsball but still fun with a good group.

I will be travelling that way this year. I have looked at Black Ops. It's not too bad of a drive. 4 hours would be worth it for a large event. I am also going to head to Fayetteville to try a couple fields around there this year. It seems to be heavy airsoft my area and it drives me crazy.

Thanks for the responses this far. I appreciate the insight...especially for the pump meetup at PBC.

You guys should start a calendar for events we have had great success in the North East organizing games this way. Even if it’s only a few games a year. Last year was one of our best years for pump paintball I think due to how easy it is to keep track of the games. We already started filling in the 2025 schedule. We have a really great group mostly organized with MCB members.

I feel like the coastal Carolinas in general seem to be lacking what I see in VA. I don't have Facebook so I just use Reddit and this these days after realizing I need some sort of connecting service. You are right a calendar for this area or something to direct me to meetups and such would be very helpful.
