Paintball DNA 3d printed plastic Freak barrel

Finally got out to the field and played with this thing. It is fun as hell!

Super light. Tipped the balance of my mag backwards to where I was using it one-handed like a pistol. Shots were as accurate as any freak barrel. For 20 dollars it was well worth the price.

I know the threads won't last forever. I'll definitely cross thread it and strip the threads at some point. But for 20 dollars it is well, well worth the price.

Bonus review: I also bought the mario-bomb thread protectors for my tanks and those things are very well built. They seem like they'll last for years and years. And the design is super cool as well.

I have personally never seen any of his stuff in person, but I have never heard a bad review. For some reason though, I thought the barrels were $40, not sure If I am completely wrong or he went down in price. $40 seems like too much to me, but $20 isn't bad at all.

Anh idea if it is 100% infil?

      Yeah, it's 100%.

It's 20 bucks! I don't know too much about 3d manufacturing, but after looking at the definition of infill I would say it is 100 percent. There doesn't appear to be an area where there is less plastic to save money.

Where did you find the Mario Bob-omb thread protectors? If they were on the PBDNA website, I must be blind. My Google-fu also seems to be weak.
      I can haz feedback?
If I owe you feedback, just remind me, as I sometimes forget.

Oh shoot I don't see the bomb covers on the website anymore.

Maybe Nintendo sent them a cease and desist?

Haha. Nope. We just weren't happy with how durable the resin threads are. Too easy to cross thread.

Judging from the variety of products, business must be booming. And good for Ben. Although I wish he'd come around here more 😁

There's a warning on the product page that plastic just isn't as strong as aluminum and don't expect it to take a core sample. Which is fair. At $20, buy a backup and still come out ahead

I've been thinking about snagging one of those next time I order. I have a JOLO that I love and recommend to everybody. Super durable considering it's 3D printed.

A warning to Canadians, due to the shipping method and conversion rate, the price can be relatively. Regardless, I'd buy from them again. Maybe a couple of these shorty barrels are in order.
