I just replaced mine, after I can't count how many cases through.

i had an older freak twistlock back with a slightly wider detent groove, but Jake made me a few that were a little wider and boom! It has held with all.sorts of paint, weather, etc

When and if you run out in the future, just let me know. I did think to do it as a separate model so i should be able to print those again as needed.

Original tester detent still going strong. It lives here right now:

Well over 10K shots on the original detent.
I have also installed a handful in customer mag rebuilds and every person has been thrilled with them.

Any tips for taking down the width? I have some that are very difficult to install and the flap sticks down after firing.

You can use sand paper, scissors, razor blade, pretty much anything that is sharp or will remove material. If it fits the barrel groove I would probably just use some scissors and take off a little bit from the finger until it works as it should.

I wish the barrel detent slots were standard, but every manufacturer kind of did their own thing.

I dropped one in my father-in-laws level 10 classic mag with a dye boomstick, he was able to play all day without a single double feed or barrel break. Paint was 0.675. These continue to be an absolutely awesome upgrade.

They actually seem to handle the crazy tiny paint better then even a doc's barrel adapter, but I'll need more field time testing them to be sure.

wondering how it works with a freak back?
dont see why it would not
only fault i see is when i build mags for people and if i include this in the barrel.
will need cards or something so they wont bug me if (key word if) they wear out where to get more.

        i want some

My original detent lived through another big game where it was loaned out. This is the gun I lend out for casual play these days. It is trouble free and easy to understand. Shoots any paint good and doesn't break balls.

        Updated shot count.

Thanks for the review. Always good to see that we have options for keeping the classics mowing.
