    Empire E-Vent

I like these as a cheap mask, and the soft ears make wearing glasses a nice prospect. I feel the price, and easily swapped out lens push them (very slightly) towards ProFlex stardom but slightly less customisable.

However, today I have discovered that ProFlex (JT) straps fit! You do need to cut off the old strap around each plastic clip and then thread through each ProFlex strap with a bit of force- I used needle nosed pliers.

Yes, the mask has had its nose pierced incase you were wondering. Nice cheap, comfy mask to customise 😁. Wish they would bring out a pink lens 😍

I liked my events when I had a pair. Only beef was that the lens gasket ran into prime FOV real-estate. I honestly only sold it because a buddy asked me to sell it to him. Nice tip on using og straps though!

Just a note, I'm not sure if the mask in the pictures was marketed to you as "Empire E-Vents" but everywhere I've seen it's been marketed in the US as an "Empire E-Flex". The "E-Vents" utilize the same lense, are a bit seeker, and do not have a the JT Flex style lowers. Regardless both are great masks and have probably the best lense system ever made.

These are E-vents 2.0. Basically an E-flex but with a hard skirt. They just came out late last year I think.

Interesting! I had no idea they released a new version of E-Vents, I'm curious about the hard skirt, any idea if it's like the new jt "proshield" hard?

As far as I know it's very similar to the new Proshields but I haven't owned either so I can't say for sure. I can't imagine them being too different though.

The old school e-vents were my all time favorite.

Yeah that's an e-flex in the photo

        *Cracks useless knowledge knuckles*

Here's the rundown, ALL these masks use the same lenses and as far as I know, straps

On the bottom end is the helix, they made it both in a single pane lens and helix thermal version. Fairly stiff foam, great rental masks, ears are molded into the rest of the mask as plastic

E-vents, separate foam ears, dual layer foam on your face. Many of the lines are the same as the helix but TYPICALLY are 2 colors instead of one

E-flex, completely different frame, separate lowers and are compatible with original JT flex lowers. The empire lowers reportedly are a little more off of your face allowing for more space under the mask

In finding these photos I did notice a few sites that are mislabeling the flex as the e-vents. Pretty amateur mistake honestly considering they look very different

If you need to wear glasses under your mask the e-vents or flex are probably two of the best options out there.

Ok this is annoying, thanks GI

Apparently, empire has just renamed the e-flex to the e-vents. Because that's not confusing at all

That link is for the new e-vents with the solid skirt. They still have the e-flex listed on their site, albeit sold out. Why they had to go and make the new e-vent look exactly like the e-flex is beyond me.

Would you happen to know if the ears are the same as the Eflex, they look identical but you never know.

As somebody who had one of the gen 1 e-vents and a pair of e-flexes still. I don't see any reason why the solid skirt events would be different given the way the ear interfaces with the lens retention system
