Update: My team went & said this was by far the worst game they've played in years. The teams were unbalanced at about 2-1.

As with all things paintball, though poorly advertised, rarely promoted, and only vaguely talked about by boomers on Facebook - we are now here! Scorched Earth will kick off this weekend at Black Ops in Fayetteville!

Campsite set-up will be on Friday; games will be Sat-Sun. I will block off a decent sized area, but no promises. The field is about 10 min from a grocery store/fast food.

If this is your first big game, the temptation to buy a First Strike gun after the first day will be insatiable…budget accordingly.

I have a pump cocker also and a wgp prostock mech…shit Il find out what color they shooting and bring a case of that…im in the process of buying a couple airball fields for 3800 and setting that up on some land we own and also having a woods setup in our woods on that plot….i would want some money for air and entry…but not for paint…I would have say ten cases on site for people that would like to buy paint…I have a nice hpa full station and a tank I can put c02 in also…I bout a paintball fields setup when they closed about 8-10 years ago…this is just wild having to buy paint from the fields…they need to raise their entry price say 10-15 a person and let people bring their own paint

The move is to start playing pump haha.

With scenario games ran by OhanaPB, the refs only job is to look for different paint fill. They’ll dump all your pods; not worth it.

For regular game days you really just won’t go through a ton of paint. They run an awesome mix of woods, pipes, mounds, air ball, etc. I would definitely invest in a mechanical marker - save the electronic guns for speedball specifically.

Well damn…that sucks…il just by a case from him and maybe sneak some..I understand that he needs to make money but I ain’t buying 3 cases at field price…I get a good deal on paint like 35-40 bucks for 2 star paint ain’t it just sucks paying 55 60 bucks for the same paint…I’m just getting back into playing after 20 years and are most places like that cuz if so ima have to start coming up with a plan…I do t mind buying a case there that’s fine I can deal with that but it would be nice if you at least bought a case u could use your own also….does this place a good setup never been there so I have zero idea

Keep in mind, this is event paint only. You have to purchase it from them.

My biggest shock when I got back in to playing was the fact that I couldn’t go bring my own paint to these fields haha.
