    It’s happening again isn’t it.

    So as I have said a few places I have owned and shot the same mag now for over 20 years since I bought it new as my second marker.

    In those 20 years this single mag as spawned many as I would upgrade it to the point of ending up with a whole new gun and this one would get reassembled in its original form.

    Well last night I was just looking over my stuff and realized my trusty old wire nubbin detent in my preferred dye barrel had finally broke.

    So I went onto AGD site to see if by chance they had any left over wire detents (find they held paint better than plastic ones I have a bunch of). And that ended with ordering a ULE body again. Why does this keep happening lol. These things are worse than rabbits.

      you gots da fever, and the only cure, is more mag upgrades!

        lol this round 6 for this mag alone I think. After I sold my last build I promised myself that was last time.

        I need resist urge to go any further. And that post is BAD for that need lol.

      Also be careful with parts in bin they tend to reproduce in the dark and you end up with another complete mag without noticing
      I currently have now two complete one in parts that I dont recon buying...

        The plastic detents aren't bad in my experience., You just need to put a strip of tape over the nubbin part and it works very well.

          Hi Toestr, How does a piece of tape help exactly with the function of the detent nubbin ? Also, what tape works best for this mod?

              It just provides some tension on the end of the detent , and pushes it in further. Not sure on longevity, but I've shot about 100 rounds through it in the yard so far, and it's held up. I use scotch tape, but you could probably use electrical tape if your barrel fit is loose enough.

              I'd post photos, but I access the forum through Tapatalk, and I've reached my monthly photo upload limit apparently. It's pretty straight forward anyway.

                Well it’s confirmed. Bad case of mag fever. I was really questioning my decision to upgrade my original mag yet again. As I love the way it’s setup now. So i did the only logical thing. Searched out and Picked up another used mag locally that’s seems to have never seen field time.

                The thinking is I just enjoy mags more than my tippmann crossover, and since I suck to much for the better performing Crossover to matter any, I may as well shoot what I enjoy. I got 20+ years shooting mags,why stop now right?

                This new addition will get the ULE body and RT on/off when it arrives as well as eventually a LVL10 (or at least another LVL 7 foamie bolt). The nice like new all American barrel will go on my original mag and this one came with a few more wire ball detents
