So, I recently acquired an RT pro and bought a parts kit to swap out all the seals. Everything went smoothly until I got to the power tube and noticed that the spacer wouldn't come out, even with some solid tapping. I eventually managed to remove it with the creative use of a couple zip ties, but now I can't seem to get it back in. It stops at about the point where the bottom edge of the spacer reaches the end of the threading. For shits and giggles I tried one of the carriers from a level 10 bolt kit that I was planning to install to see if it was just the spacer and ran into the same issue. Has anyone else out there come across a similar problem? And if so, were you able to find a solution?

RT Pro spacer/carriers jammed or don't fit?

No burrs as far as I can tell. Everything feels smooth. There's some abrasive markings on the spacer, but nothing that looks like it's hanging on anything. I can get it back in, but it requires the force of me screwing the power tube tip down on top of it and I have to fish around for a while to un-jam it again. Do you think it's possible that the power tube is slightly smashed or something? Added some pictures to show the tube, spacer and possible points of abrasion.

For the spacer I ended up polishing down the OD until it just barely fit in there. I tried another one of the carriers and it was a snug fit without needing to force it. I'm wondering if the previous owner might have accidentally stepped on the side of the spacer or something and slightly deformed it. Prior to the polishing, it took what I would estimate to be a good 45 lbs. or so of force to dislodge it from the power tube.

my guess is pliers. you can see the horizontal lines on the powertube. all movement from the bolt would be linear. the powertube probably was leaking and they tried to remove and replace the seal/reloctite it.BeardedWorks.com (Your Inception Designs and Shocktech Dealer)

Not gonna lie... I think those idiot marks were caused by yours truly when I tried to get it out with an o-ring pick before realizing how stuck it was.
**EDIT** I read back and saw you said power tube. At least I can't claim ownership of those. The gouges in the spacer were likely mine, though. Guess we'll see how it does next time I make it out to the field and get to air it up.
