Nice! I'll look into that. Rebuild kit is finally here, there is some what looks to be surface rust on part of bolt rod itself. I'll take a deeper look into things later as I'm at one project at a time right now.

Edit - this lapco barrel had a small steel? Wire that is sitting where the nubbin should be. Anyone familiar with the correct orientation on this? It seems like it fits in flush one way but also like it'll shred paint with how sharp it is.

Edit two - It works! After some futzing around and finding leaks and draining one of my two 13 ci's, it is cycling! Now I need some macroline and macroline fittings. Might have to go out and play this weekend just to make sure it's running right. I guess it's an earlier valve as the power tip oring is not the right size as the one in the rebuild.

NONOBLITUS Yeah, I figured out that part real quick. I just wasn't sure what this steel wire with a hooked tip was for in the lapco barrel. I replaced the orings on the lapco barrel with the ones from my rebuild kit, I just wasn't sure what that one single part was for, and I installed nubbins on the stock barrel as well since I bought a multiple pack.

Yea the original style nubbins were wire which I personally prefer.

Learnin' things every day. It's up and running, found some orings to seal the leak in the Gas-Thru, and now I've just got to get some fresh macroline and I should be able to get it out to a field this weekend to at least make sure it shoots.

Alright, so I traded a PGP for a classic automag, I didn't realize the minimags had more mass to them. Do I lose a ton of resale value if I swap bodies? I like the smaller profile of the automag, and expect to see it up for sale shortly. Matching valve as well!

People only really care about matching valves.

In general minimag body go for slightly more than classic body
Between 50-60 for minimag body and 20-30 for classic body

Reverse minimag valve with air intake on the left side are worth a litle more tham the one on the right

Nothing cool like that. Standard valve, I figured I'd keep the mini and play with it and sell the auto since one mag should do the trick. He says to himself, lying.

Stupid question time! Bought an asa from a guy on here and I do not have screws that fit it. What's the thread pitch I should be looking for?
