Stutter/Double Fire Malfunction on Classic Mag

This is a short clip of my buddy's classic Level 7 Automag exhibiting this odd double firing/stuttering behavior. We saw this at the field the last time he played, which was several months ago. His mag has been sitting in a storage bin in my garage ever since. Any ideas on the cause? I was thinking probably a worn sear or maybe a trigger rod that needs to be turned in more. I noticed that at rest the trigger rod has almost no gap between it and the back of the trigger. I have done all the work on this marker since resurrecting it from long term storage in 2020, and I don't recall screwing with the trigger rod. But I could be misremembering. I certainly screwed around with mine (used a cut frame with double finger trigger briefly, then reverted back to stock).

If anyone has seen this before or has any informed guesses as to the cause, I'd appreciate hearing from you. Thanks.

The Automag: Not as clumsy or random as an electro. An elegant marker for a more civilised age.

When aired up there should be about a credit card length gap between the sear and the back of the trigger, if you've done that then try rebuilding the On/Off in the valve
