Had an HUA moment today.

So I'm heading out this weekend to go sh0ot sum foolz and show off what the old school can do. So naturally, I spent today tinkering with things and making sure my gear is good to go. Autococker, check. Hammer, check. Automag, BRRRRAAAAAPPPP!

Sucker went into uncontrolled full auto. I run classic valves. There should be no RT or anything of the sort at all! So I shout a few un-Christianly words and tear into the sucker. The on/off pin was stuck forward, so I couldn't just pull the valve out. So I had to dig in deeper. When I get the front frame screw out, I immediately see the issue.

I didn't have a sear in the damn thing.

I had spent some time a few months ago messing around with setup configurations, and somehow I completely forgot the sear.

I feel so stupid. Slapped in a sear, put her back together, and she's shooting as well as ever. D'oh!

Oof. I take the spring off the bolt for storage. I can see myself walking onto the field and venting the tank on the first shot.

I've forgotten to put the bolt back on a few times when teching my fleet of Automags. It was quite the surprise with the sudden "unexplainable" major leak.

M favorite oops with mags is having the tophat in the old style on/offs put in upside down. You can usually shoot a shot and wait a few seconds and get velocity, but pull more than a couple shots in a row and they just bloop bloop out the end of the barrel.
