Pump spring question

I am not doing so well in changing my hoarding ways. That said, I am looking to dial in my automag pump. Anyone figure out an easy way to cut a spring to the right/perfect length.

I dont have a worn out spring like some have used.

I'll share my beans with you this one time, in all my pump mags if I don't have a used/broken in spring I try to cut the spring to be in line with the tip of my bolt ill get pictures up later if you want me to

This is the latest configuration. I might get a emag length rail milled for warp left body. We will see.
