Key-Holed On-Off Body

Saw a ule body that has a 'key-holed on/off' in a for sale thread here. What's that about? Didn't want to hi-jack his thread so figured I'd ask here.

In general, the mood on MCB is up front and easy going, so an honest question in a sales thread isn't considered rude or out of place. I'd rather say that if one person needs to ask, there are probably more people wondering the exact same thing. I'm sure you can tell the difference between an honest question, and the kind of underhand questions formulated to technically look innocent, but with the sole purpose to derail the thread or cast doubt on the seller. So please feel free to ask honest questions.

In this specific case, I also wondered what a key holed body might mean, and I consider myself to be fairly adapt at Automags. I was in a hurry when I read the thread, and then I promptly forgot about it... Yeah, that happens a lot...


Edit: Actually, the mood on MCB is so inviting and relaxed, that members in general - and myself in particular *cough* - quite regularly litter sales threads with puns,ironic remarks, jokes and general shenanigans when we obviously weren't going to buy the item on sale in the first place. So yeah - an honest question will most definitely not be out of place around here.

My guess is the body was cut to allow the valve to be removed with out pulling the trigger to push the on/off back up.

EDIT: I am wrong here leaving it for history only do not pay attention to me.
I am not Mag expert but if I am not mistaken the body has an extended portion on it that keys up to the rail and if your rail does not have a keyhole then it will need modded or you will need a new rail. If I am wrong someone please let me know.

All mag rails will accept round mounting tabs, not all will accept the rectangular tabs. I don't think that is what he is referring to though.
