Threaded mag bodies

I had a rt classic back in the day and while I liked it, it was never quite what I wanted. I did not in particular care for the twistlock barrels or the power feed.

So now I find myself interested in a “fancier” mech then my enmey and would like to revisit a mag. I know the ULE bodies would give me cocker threaded barrels and clamping feednecks. What other bodies would meet this criteria with a vertical elbow feed being tolerable?

Here's what I come up with:

XMT bodies but they're pricey.

Centerfeed Micromag bodies. (Wouldn't have clamping feedneck.)

Doc's adapter in a vert feed twistlock body.

Those doc adapters are great. I've ready some comments from people saying they have had issues, but other than having a detent break, I have literally never had a problem with mine. And we have shitty paint around here.

There are some private label bodies floating around too, like the Mike Cassidy mag, (aka Fleet mag, or CCI mag)

The Doc's adapters are awesome! He updated the design, so they now come with dual detents which clears up all the issues anyone had with them.

The most accessible bodies would be ULE, CCI and Galactic Z.

Picking one depends on what you like and what you can afford. They range from reasonable to extremely expensive.

Luke Customs Bodies. I believe he still has some available.

Thanks everyone, I wasn’t sure if there was a more common option then the basic ULE bodies.

the karta and other custom bodies are works of art and beyond my budget lol.

I think next up from Agd ule would be some of the Aluminum XMT Mimimag/Rt style bodies. Still expensive but not Karta expensive.

The CCI bodies were actually called helios bodies and sold by someone else. If your looking for one, I may have one kicking around i'd be willing to let go.
