Minimag velocity problem

I have a minimag that has been rock solid for a long time until this weekend. I alway use a ninja SHP tank and this weekend when chronoing my velocity was down around 225. When I turned it up I couldn't get much above 250 before it would over pressure out the back.

I assume something has just gotten worn out but figured the collective here would know more than an old pump/cocker guy.

According to Tom Kaye, velocity problems are associated with the regulator. Clean/replace the seat and maybe regrease the spring pack and piston.

Try a different tank just to rule out an air supply issue. Otherwise it's likely a spring pack issue, like Toestr said.

If you are running an untested Level 10 bolt, they require a higher pressure than the stock-set regulator piston could handle without venting. They can be manually adjusted, or purchased new from AGD.
If you are not running a Level 10 bolt, you can disregard this.
