Magageddon offer the rail and body milling if I remember well BMC also offer the service

Pump kit can be expensive, 3d printed one work but not as sturdy as real kit.

Check this page for some of the pump kit that were made over the years. There is also a link for wavy springs
Pictures would be helpful. What kits were made over the years? Who seemed to have the best design and why? Are there permanent mods needed other than the rail slot? Looking for design ideas, apparently some of these things sell for $500. What makes a $500 pump kit? (Is it just rare)

I've built about 6 pump mags and milled a few more rails as well. Their fun to play with on the field, nothing quite like it.

There are 5 main parts you need:
      - Pump milled body, agd factory pump milled twistlock right feed/powerfeed bodies, its about a 1 in 5 ratio that you'll come across one randomly on a mag build. They never milled ule bodies from the factory, so if you want one of those, your pay more of a premium. You can try using a dremel tool to mill your own if you don't have access to a mill, but most people aren't that brave and commission the work out, though there aren't a lot of people milling ule bodies these days.
      - Pump milled rail, agd also pump milled these from the factory, the easiest ones to spot if you know what your looking at are colored rails with the agd warning lasering on the side. You can also do the pump milling with a dremel tool if you have a steady hand. Personally I use my manual mill to do mine, I had shared my measurements diagram with a buddy and he went the dremel route and had great success. You might be able to find the cad drawings on AO still, I took my own measurements on a factory milled rail and use those as my point of reference now
      - Pump mag pump kit, the most accessible kit is a 3d printed kit that a guy by clint quinley makes on facebook, their about 50 bucks shipped each and get the job done, but its still a 3D printed kit and isnt as nice compared to other kits. There are about 5 popular production kits out there that all vary on price, expect to pay 2-500 depending on what pump you want.
      - Wave Spring, Pretty sure you can still get them from mcmaster carr, but cheaper to buy them in bulk vs individually, generally their an off the shelf part, I'm sure the sizes are still listed on AO
      - Worn down main bolt spring, you wanna get a main bolt spring that super loose around the bolt, where it doesn't have any grip when you slide it onto the bolt shaft (Make your joke, I know you want to)

All a pump mag is, is a broken automag, that wave spring is creating intentional bolt lag/stick, so the force necessary to recock the bolt is almost nothing. On one of my personal builds, its literally a pinky finger stroke every time.

As far as valves go, the easiest route is to use a stainless classic valve with a lvl7 bolt, lvl7 foamie tip bolt if you wanna be snazzy. I wouldn't mess with a lvl10 bolt, its not really necessary on a pump mag and is just a pain in the ass to set up. Same goes for X valves, If you really wanna tinker, go for it, but its a royal pain in the balls to try.

As far as assembly goes, your gonna have to do some tinkering, they don't bolt together and work like a cocker out of the box, you need to bend your main pump rod to your rail to get it to work correctly.

Their cool to play with, being open bolt, your a lot less likely to chop/shortstroke. If for whatever reason you don't want to run it as a pump, just take a few minutes, take the pump parts off, and now you have a semi auto mag again.

If you need any help, feel free to reach out

I might be doing one soon. I'll definitely need the rail. I have factory milled bodies.

I'm actually getting ready to do some cleaning in the shop, I'll let you know if I find any relevant parts though I know I don't have a spare pump kit.

Here's a picture of my jankopotamus pump kit and the 3D printed kit I bought below it. Despite the look the one I made is smoother. You can feel the 3D printed one grinding as it moves. But like others have said all you need is a small bump to cock it and you probably wouldn't notice in game. I do prefer having the longer pump handle. With the short handle the foregrip gets in the way.

Well, here is my unfinished AGD Chord pump project. I do not know, but maybe it's me that thinks this things are getting too expensive .
