Sure, but not all people own the LPR but may still want to run my Sidekick, so that port needs to be blocked.

That said my LPR's are designed to be installed in a grip frame so they are easy to install and remove. Plus with the oring seal you dont have to futz around with thread sealer..

Yes, there's no marker limitations for most big games

So, would a pneumag that uses a classic valve be legal? If so, I can see that logic. It's the pneumag setup in the grip being illegal that has me scratching my head.

an xvalve mag is legal as long as it does not rt.

I ended up with this exact question after reading the posts above. So is a mech framed 180r considered mech enough? Would a stock x-valved mag be considered acceptable or does the oj/off make it fall into assisted?

Because it isn’t considered a modern mech and the trigger is not directly actuating the sear.

    Depends on the tournament

So, a pneumatic valve actuating a piston to the on/off in a mag is illegal in mech competition. How does that fundementally differ from the trigger valve in an emek? In the emek the valve distributes air to actuate the bolt forwards and backwards which also functions to release a stored air volume to move the ball. There isnt even a sear involved. If pneumatics in an automag invalidate it as a competition mech, why are spool valve mechs allowed at all? Asking from the genuinely ignorant point of view of someone who has never been in a tourney.
