I have a classic Mag that I'm racking my brain to figure out. It started out when I decided to dust off the marker and give it a good once over to fix any issues it may have in the hopes that I may use it again this year. While I fixed the few leaks it had in the air fittings, I also discovered why I put it away in the first place a couple years back. While all of the seals appear fine (it was freshly rebuilt not long before putting it away), the gun would chuff every other shot. So, I checked the sear spacing and freshly oiled all of the seals in the valve. Now I seem to have made the problem worse to where the on/off pin won't even engage the sear anymore. I've checked and double checked the on/off assembly to make sure it's all back together in the right order, but I can't get anywhere. What could be the issue here?

A thing to try is raise the velocity up higher and see if it isn't just chuffing due to running too low of pressure. You could also have an out of spec/damaged top Teflon oring causing the pin to stick. Also make sure the airtanks pin is being depressed fully and not starving the gun. Some of the newer ball sealed tank valves don't open far enough with some asas to feed enough air for reliable shooting. As mentioned some pictures of your rail setup, on/off assembly and the inside of the valve can help.

Last time I had this issue it was an alignment issue with the tired old mismatched valve not sitting on the rail correctly. I wish I had a fix, but I ended up just getting a new valve from bacci and swapping all the parts and seals over and it fixed it immediately.

It's not an alignment issue in this case. These parts have worked together before. I've already got the on/off issue fixed. I'm just trying to get the whole starvation issue situated now. I know it's getting enough pressure from the tank, so I'm thinking it's got to be something with the back half of the reg.
