Custom BST Designs/Vindicate Sports CCM J6

Well.... this could take a bit.

This project originated when I realized prices on used CCM markers were going for more than new, which in turn was driving up the pricing of new markers.

I hopped over to CCMs page to see what materials were readily available, after contacting Bill for his blessing on this project, he told me as long as I wasnt trying to replicate any of his existing parts currently in production, he had no issues with it.

It kind of hit me that if I was going to build 1 custom marker, I may as well try to do a small run. I have worked with Vindicate Sports several times for my more complicated projects, he has always treated me more than fair on pricing as long as I have the patience and realize he does indeed have a day job.

Ironically enough CCM had several J6 top tubes that had been sitting in their store for quite a while, and Vindicate had in fact made a J6 lower tube previously years ago.

So being a design engineer and having worked with several good machinists among the groups, I set off to make my own version of a CCM pump paintball marker, it took probably 2 months of modeling, testing, and prototyping to get the body where I was happy with it flowing with the frame, back block, vasa, and still integrates flawlessly with the original CCM parts. I believe I did a total of 13 3D printed prototypes before being happy.

Even after, the original back block was too unsupported to be machined, so we had to do a second revision on that as well.

The pics kind of speak for the rest. I hope to have final assembled pictures of mine later this week, and it will be off to anno.

    Build specs are as follows

BST Designs/Vindicate Sports - Lower Tube (11/16 valve)
    BST Designs/Vindicate Sports - Vasa
BST Designs/Vindicate Sports - Back Block
Vindicate Sports - Aluminum Pump Handle With Internal Delrin Sleeve
    CCM - Top Tube
    CCM - Frame
    CCM - Main Guide
    CCM - Secondary Guide
    CCM - On/Off
    CCM - Rail
    CCM - Bolt
    CCM - 11/16" SS25 Valve
    CCM - Regulator
    CCM - Feedneck
    CCM - Air Fittings
    Dye Reflex - Cocking Rod

Would like to mention the pic below is missing a few parts, and it was #1 prototype test fit body, not a final production body.
