    Slider Trigger Screws

My old ST slide frame has a pair of steel adjustment screws for the trigger plate. I've seen where people replace them with brass-tipped screws. I would imagine a solid brass screw would work as well.

Is there a place to order these from? Or is this something im going to have to source on my own?

    Thanks!

Punch in the size you want and order away they got all kinds of cool stuff.
McMaster-Carr is the complete source for your plant with over 595,000 products. 98% of products ordered ship from stock and deliver same or next day.

I just pulled the screws out, they are tiny dog-point screws, all steel. I'm guessing #6 thread or #8. I'll have to throw a mic on it to be sure.

I've ordered stuff from McMaster before, but wasn't sure if there was a place to buy from other than them.

Brass tipped. Trust me. Only reason to do a brass screw is if it’s too short of a housing to fit the stainless part in.

nylon tipped for delrin/aluminum trigger plates.

Got the screws out and measured them. Both are 8-32, one is .250" long and one is .188" long.

Can get them from McMaster, but have to buy 10 of each, and will cost me $20 + shipping.

That’s how I buy them. You could try and find them at your local hardware store but won’t take long to spend $20 in time and most places don’t carry them.

I always check ebay for stuff like that. Alot of times you'll find open packages where someone has used a few of a 25 pack or something.
