Was looking at pictures of trigger plates tonight for the slider frames, and came across some older plates that had rollers on the top to, in theory, reduce the friction of the trigger plate against the bottom of the body. I also imagine they were less wear-and-tear on the ano as well.
The I got to thinking. What if you took a standard trigger plate (flat across the top) and used a file to relieve the middle of the plate? So when looking at it, the top would have two raised bumps, one in the front, one in the back.
In theory, the trigger plate would now have less possible contact with the body, and therefore less friction, in theory..
Would this make a huge difference? Probably not.
Just had this pop into my head and wasn't sure if this type of mod was an old trick, or if I just happen to have a fresh, original idea (which i doubt lol)
